Hi all, do you know how to make Jaws point to a link that you can download, such as an image or sound file, that you can download if you can get that little context menu up that has the option to save the link to your hard drive? I've tried routing the jaws cursor to virtual pc, which is what's default in internet explorer, and then hitting the right mouse button, but i only get a few options. I've seen this before, but i dont remember how to do it. Thanks

I think this is what you are looking for. highlight the link on the page. Now, instead of pressing enter on the link, press the jaws right mouse button, the asterisk (*) on the numpad. It is the third button on the top row of the numpad. You will be presented with a context menu. One of the options is "save target as..."
Hope this helps.

if that doesn't work, you can press the aplications key, when pointed to the link. that is the key to the right of theof the space bar, the third key to the right of the spacebar.hope this helps.

Another way to do it is bring up the links list with insert+f7 and then arrow to the link you want. Tab once to move to and then press the aps key. I usually do it this way because if I simply arrow or tab to it on the page sometimes Jaws selects another link to bring up the context menu for. For instance; if I want to download something, and I simply arrow to it Jaws may choose to download something else instead. Hope this makes since.
